The Pass plus course has been introduced to improve basic driver skills. It helps to gain a positive driving style, quality driving experience safely and reduces the risk of accidents. This is covered by 6 topics:-
- Driving in all weather conditions
- Night driving
- Dual Carriageways
- Rural Roads
- Town centres"
- Motorways
Drivers who successfully complete the course will be offered a discount on their insurance premiums by participating insurance companies. The course is usually done over 6 – 8 Hours.

Although pass plus is not compulsory, look at it as preventative medicine. Preventing an accident is better than a cure!!
